Take the ferry from the coastal town of Fazana to the island, the 18-hole golf course (par 71, SSS 71) with a length of 5.486 m and 4.977 m for men for women, is located in the northeastern part of the island. The course is not too demanding and therefore suitable for all players. The fairways are wide and allow various mistakes. As obstacles on the course serve sand pits (bunkers), plenty of small woods, scattered trees and shrubs, and of course water hazards.
The golf course is playable the whole year. In january the temperatures are rarely below freezing. Sometimes in the winter blows a cold wind (Bora), but this won't even stop you from enjoying the game of golf. Depending on the amount of rainfall during the summer months it is possible that the grass dries out. But a local rule says that the ball may be moved, which allows continuing the normal game.
The equipment can be hired at the clubhouse. You can get a full set of bats (for right- and left-handed, women and men sets) with bag, golf trolley and balls for practice. Other golf equipment is available at the Pro Shop.
